The Egalitarian Minyan celebrated its 25th anniversary Shabbaton on shabbat Yitro, February 13-15, 2004. Our speaker was Dr. Neil Gillman, chair of the department of Jewish Philosophy at the Jewish Theological Seminary, who gave a series of fascinating and thought-provoking talks.
On this occasion, the minyan welcomed a number of former members from around the country. Our davening included old and new members leading tefillot and reading Torah. Our program included the expected enormous meals together, singing, and even a quiz show on minyan history.
